Requirements

Minimum of one year experience working on diesel powered vehicles and equipment.
Knowledge in Diesel Mechanics.
Knowledge in using diagnostic programs.
Strong mechanical and technical skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Own basic tools.
Proof of authorization to work in the United States.
Successful completion of background check and drug test.
Acceptable physical examination.

Nice To Haves

Certification in Diesel Mechanics is preferred.

Responsibilities

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Communicate all findings to lead on floor such as parts being needed and other key components that require other department attention.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and other mechanical systems.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and identify problems.
Write up on the repair order an accurate, clear, and detailed description of the cause of failure and the repair procedure used.
