About The Position

Cox Fleet is seeking individuals for their FleeTec Academy, a paid educational program designed to train aspiring Diesel and Trailer Technicians. This program offers comprehensive training in Diesel and Trailer Repair, leading to a full-time Mobile Mechanic position. The program includes 5 weeks of full-time classroom training with paid expenses, followed by hands-on training with a Lead Technician. Upon successful completion, graduates will be employed as Mobile Mechanics, utilizing state-of-the-art vehicles to perform preventative maintenance and general repairs at customer locations. The role offers a clear career path with opportunities for raises and further development.

Requirements

• Desire to start a career as a Diesel and Trailer Technician and become a Mobile Mechanic.
• Willingness and ability to study hard.
• Ability to dedicate 5 weeks away from home for training.
• Maturity to focus on the task at hand.
• Technical aptitude and a passion for fixing vehicles.
• Ability to operate an iPad.
• Must be 21 years old to drive a company truck.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 5-week paid full-time classroom training program.
• Undergo hands-on training with a Lead Technician.
