Requirements

• Experience repairing diesel, construction, agricultural, automotive, truck, or similar equipment.
• Comfortable troubleshooting rather than simply replacing parts.
• Understanding of the basics of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work independently and know when to ask for help.
• Pride in doing thorough, quality work.
• Consideration for safety and the customer.
• Ability to work well with other technicians and departments.
• Desire to continue learning and developing technical skills.

Nice To Haves

• Compact construction equipment experience.
• Experience in heavy equipment, construction equipment, agricultural equipment, diesel truck repair, automotive repair, forklift or material handling equipment, fleet maintenance, industrial equipment, or military equipment maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose equipment and solve mechanical problems.
• Willingness to learn new machines.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain compact construction equipment such as skid steers, compact track loaders, mini excavators, and telehandlers.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel-related problems.
• Perform repairs to ensure equipment is safely back in operation.
• Complete preventive maintenance and routine service.
• Utilize diagnostic software and tools for troubleshooting.
• Inspect equipment to identify potential issues.
• Maintain accurate work orders and repair records.
• Ensure the rental fleet is in ready-to-work condition.
• Collaborate with Parts, Service, Rental, and Sales departments.
• Share knowledge and assist teammates.
