About The Position

Diesel Technician - Sunset Chevrolet-Buick-GMC is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join their team. This is an immediate opening within a new car dealership group that offers consistency, stability, and year-round work. The facility is large, recently expanded, and equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. The company values its service team and offers relocation assistance to qualified candidates. The ideal candidate will be dependable, ethical, and possess good diagnostic skills.

Requirements

• Technical institute/training a plus, experience considered in lieu of education
• Diesel experience in a new car/truck dealership; GM experience preferred
• Good diagnostic skills
• Flexibility for all types of work
• Own tools
• Valid driver's license
• Verifiable work history
• Ability to engage in heavy lifting
• Basic computer proficiency
• Willingness to continue your education

Nice To Haves

• Dealership Experience and Certifications preferred, especially with heavy-duty/trucks.
• GM Dealership experience preferred.
• ASE and/or GM certifications preferred

Responsibilities
