About The Position
Sunset Chevrolet-Buick-GMC, a proud member of the Sunset Automotive Group family of dealerships, has an immediate opening for an experienced GM Service Technician! We offer recently increased, highly competitive flat-rate pay with consistent, year-round work, allowing our best techs to consistently make 6 figures. Our large facility has recently expanded to add more bays and is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and multiple machines to limit waiting. We are an established, stable company that understands the value of our service team. Relocation Assistance is available to the right candidate.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an automotive service technician.
- Dependable and ethical.
- A or B technician with solid diagnostic and repair skills.
- Intermediate to advanced automotive service experience.
- Own tools.
- Valid driver's license.
- Verifiable work history.
- Basic computer proficiency.
Nice To Haves
- GM certifications and experience preferred.
- Technical institute/training a plus, experience considered in lieu of education.
- GM experience preferred.
- ASE and/or GM certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Complete quality repairs independently or with minimal supervision.
- Perform diagnostic and repair tasks.
- Engage in heavy lifting.
- Continue your education to maintain elite qualifications or advance.
