About The Position

Empire Truck Sales, LLC is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Service Technician who is a self-starter, quick learner, and ready to take the next step in their career. This role is for a technician with hands-on experience in heavy trucks, equipment, or fleet maintenance, rental/leasing fleets, forklifts, generators, or automobiles, or similar industries. The ideal candidate will have their own tools, be able to retain and apply learned information quickly, and take pride in doing quality work efficiently. Requirements

• Hands-on diesel repair experience and/or formal education in diesel truck, vehicle, or equipment repair.
• Must supply standard diesel technician tools.
• Basic proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and diagnostic software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Motivated with a strong drive to succeed.
• Must be able to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Freightliner, Detroit, or Cummins engine repair.
• DTNA training and certifications.
• Class A CDL with a valid medical card.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on diesel repair.
• Troubleshoot complex issues using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Work assigned shifts and overtime as needed.
