About The Position

This role involves performing preventative maintenance and safety inspections on diesel equipment. The technician will be proficient in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, refrigeration systems, pneumatic systems, brakes, and drive trains. Responsibilities also include maintaining maintenance facilities, adhering to regulations, and keeping accurate maintenance records. The job requires the ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Requirements

Associate’s degree or some college or completion of technical training or certification and two years’ experience in motor coach maintenance.
Directly related work experience demonstrating technical knowledge may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Current or the ability to attain within one year of employment CFC and brake inspector certification.
Current or the ability to attain an Alaska Driver’s license with Commercial Driver's License B endorsement.
Suitable driving record required, a Motor Vehicle Report will be requested.
Must pass a pre-employment background check.
Must pass a pre-employment drug test and will become a part of the random drug test pool.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Proficiency in the use of computer business applications, with working knowledge of computerized maintenance inventory and laptop diagnostics.
Ability to prioritize work, establish and meet deadlines, maintain an attention to accuracy and details while working in a team environment.
Ability to communicate clearly verbally and written to employees and management.
Proficiency in reading electric and pneumatic schematics, maintenance literature, and parts diagrams.
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, maintains an attention to accuracy and detail, while working in a team or group environment.

The CDL endorsement may be obtained through Company training course.
