About The Position

TA Travel Center/LV Petroleum is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician at one of our busy travel center locations in Napoleon, OH. As a Diesel Technician, you will provide accurate, efficient service to customers by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy duty trucks and trailers in a professional and accommodating manner. Our Technicians ensure we are returning every traveler to the road better than they came.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of the products we sell and the services we provide.
• Previous experience in repair or parts shop preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, some holidays in interior and exterior conditions.
• A valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy duty trucks and trailers.
• Provide accurate, efficient service to customers.
• Make recommendations to customers regarding wear conditions.
• Complete repairs within their capabilities and as written.
• Understand Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs.
• Follow safety guidelines and report potentially unsafe situations.
