About The Position
Elk Grove Ford, now proudly part of Lithia & Driveway, is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join their high-performing service team. This role is for a skilled professional with a strong background in diesel engines and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a diesel technician (Ford experience preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
Nice To Haves
- ASE certifications and/or Ford certifications are a plus
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related systems
- Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and advanced diagnostics
- Complete work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Collaborate with service advisors and team members to ensure excellent customer satisfaction
- Stay current with manufacturer training and evolving technologies
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
