About The Position

DeVivo Companies is seeking a full-time Diesel Technician for their 2nd shift (Noon - 8 PM) at their Buffalo, NY location. DeVivo Companies provides comprehensive transportation, fleet, and equipment solutions, including fleet maintenance and repair, bus sales and service, truck and trailer equipment, and a Parts & Tools operation. They have twelve locations, OEM partnerships, factory-trained technicians, and extensive parts inventories, offering complete lifecycle support for vehicles and equipment. Requirements

High school diploma, technical school or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field of automotive, truck or bus repair
Own & maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions
Proficient with computer operation/usage
Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

A New York State motor vehicle inspector certificate is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of medium and heavy-duty vehicles
Performs diagnostic and repair work on all types of vehicles
Follow established technical & administrative processes
Complete repair orders & parts usage forms
Communicate effectively with supervisor, team members & customers
Remain current on technical & regulation requirements
Perform road service calls as required
