Gordon Food Service is seeking a Diesel Technician for their fleet shops across the US. The role involves maintaining over 3,000 tractors and trailers for their private, company-owned fleet. Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid, unrestricted state-issued driver's license.
- Diesel tractor trailer experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate in English – writing, speaking, and reading.
- Physical requirements include lifting up to 100 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Maintain over 3,000 tractors and trailers (reefer units) for the company-owned fleet.
- Perform automotive and diesel maintenance.
- Utilize provided lifts for safety.
- Work within a clean and organized parts room.
- Use heavier specialty tools provided by the company.
