About The Position

We are looking for an Entry Level Diesel Technician to join our Distribution business in Albany, NY. In this role, you will make an impact by maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles, adhering to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies, and pursuing ongoing development and certifications on new and existing Cummins products. You will also be responsible for maintaining your own tools and assisting in basic workshop activities such as cleaning, inspecting, and disassembling vehicles. You will learn Standard Repair Times (SRTs) and follow documented procedures to complete basic repairs and maintenance, completing required documentation and training in line with job skill and business requirements. Maintaining a clean and properly operating work area and tools is essential, as is projecting a positive company image through cooperative and courteous interactions. Ensuring adherence to all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies, procedures, and legislation, and reporting any issues or incidents to the supervisor are also key responsibilities.
