About The Position

Butler Machinery Company is hiring a Diesel Service Technician to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for customer equipment. The role focuses on agriculture equipment and its systems, including diesel technology components such as hydraulics, electrical systems, and power trains. Technicians work independently and as part of a team, maintain a safe and clean work environment, and pursue ongoing learning and training to keep up with industry standards and product updates. The position may involve travel to other Butler and customer locations, and overtime may be available as workload dictates.

Requirements

• Applied knowledge of basic mechanical theory.
• Willingness to acquire trade-specific tooling, including hand and impact tools.
• Must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
