Responsibilities

• Manages technicians' work volume and quality.
• Conducts safety meetings.
• Maintains order, cleanliness, organization, and function of the shop.
• Updates advisors on truck progress.
• Ensures quality control inspections are conducted and passed.
• Makes warranty coverage decisions.
• Maintains repair comebacks to a minimum.
• Becomes involved in complex and difficult repairs.
• Enlists help from district service managers on complex and difficult repairs.
• Coordinates and assigns technicians' work volume daily.
• Dispatches work daily.
• Coaches and motivates technicians to reach productivity and efficiency goals.
• Helps team leaders develop leadership skills.
• Ensures safety compliance, conducts safety meetings and trainings.
• Ensures shop complies with all local, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Performs shop walk-arounds to ensure the shop and facility are safe and secure.
• Ensures cleanliness of the shop.
• Ensures organization of the shop.
