About The Position

Diesel Mechanics have the opportunity of starting at up to $35.00 an hour based on experience! We offer 8am to 4pm and 4pm to Midnight shifts, with a shift differential for hours worked between 4pm and 8am of $3.00 Monday through Friday and $6.00 Saturday and Sunday. There are commission and bonus opportunities, including bonuses for completed ASE Certifications. This is a full-time position with benefits. Requirements

At least one full year of experience required.
Perform Preventative Maintenance on Medium/Heavy Trucks and Trailers including but not limited to: Oil Changes, Lube Checks, Coolant Checks, Fluid Checks, Battery, Belts and Hose Checks, Brake Inspections and DOT (federal annual DOT inspections).
Diagnose issues and repairs of: HVAC, Starting and Charging systems, Brakes, Engine Cooling, Exhaust, Fuel System, Suspension including alignments, Steering, After treatment (DEF and DPF) systems, Air systems and Electrical systems.
Work well with a team to provide excellent customer service and promote a positive work environment
Possess tools to properly perform repairs within our scope of service
Desire to learn and grow professionally
Have reliable transportation to and from work and valid driver’s license.
Background check – physical – pre-employment and random drug testing

Responsibilities

Must provide excellent service to our customers
Completes thorough vehicle inspections and documents any needed repairs
Inspects quality of work performed to ensure customer satisfaction
Communicate with Service Writers/Parts Counter Advisors in a friendly and professional manner
Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, work safely, and as part of a team.
