About The Position

Mullens Markings is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair its fleet of trucks and specialized equipment. The role helps ensure vehicles and equipment are maintained, repaired, and ready for crews and operations. The position is on day shift, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, and involves diagnosing problems, working independently, and completing quality repairs.

Mullens Markings is a full-service pavement marking and line striping contractor and an operating company of Road Safety Services (RSS), which provides pavement marking and traffic control services across more than 23 states and 50 locations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license; a CDL is preferred.
• At least 2 years of diesel mechanic experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working on pavement marking or roadway construction equipment.
• CDL.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel trucks and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and brake systems.
• Repair hydraulic hoses.
• Perform occasional welding and light fabrication.
• Perform occasional field repairs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Keep the shop clean and safe.
