Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
5+ years of experience working on heavy-duty trucks or equipment
Valid driver’s license required
Must provide your own tools
Knowledge of DOT regulations and commercial vehicle maintenance
Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office products for diagnostics and documentation
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and work in an active industrial environment
Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check
Ability to read, write, and understand English

Nice To Haves

ASE certifications, brake/A/C certifications, or hydraulic system experience are a plus

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, tankers, and other various types of commercial vehicles.
Perform annual/FHWA inspections on commercial vehicles
Maintain a clean and safe work area, as well as assisting other mechanics on various assigned tasks
Utilize computers for diagnostics, and various computer software systems
Accurately completing all task related paperwork
Must be able to follow directions
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned
