About The Position

ITS Trucks is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills, experience working on heavy-duty trucks, and the ability to perform repairs and preventive maintenance to keep our fleet safe and operational. We are looking for a technician who is comfortable working with modern electronic diagnostic systems and has experience with Freightliner trucks, Detroit Diesel engines, and Cummins engines.

Requirements

Diesel mechanic experience required.
Experience working on heavy-duty trucks.
Knowledge of Detroit Diesel engines (DD13/DD15).
Knowledge of Cummins engines.
Experience performing DOT inspections.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
Comfortable using computers and electronic diagnostic systems.

Nice To Haves

Diesel Technician Level 2 or Level 3 experience.
Experience with Freightliner trucks preferred.
Experience with Detroit DiagnosticLink.
Experience with Cummins INSITE.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance (PM) services on company trucks and equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
Perform DOT inspections and ensure equipment meets safety requirements.
Repair and maintain truck components, including: Brakes, Wheel seals, Air systems, Engine-related components, Other mechanical systems.
Troubleshoot issues using electronic diagnostic equipment.
Maintain and repair Freightliner trucks.
Perform diagnostics on Detroit Diesel engines, including: DD13, DD15.
Diagnose and repair Cummins engines.
Prepare trucks for inspections and keep equipment in safe operating condition.
Maintain accurate repair documentation.
Keep the shop and work areas clean and organized.
Assist with fleet readiness and maintenance needs.
