About The Position
RMPersonnel is seeking an experienced Mechanic for a recycling facility in Santa Teresa, NM. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing recycling equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
Requirements
- 2+ years of industrial, plant, or maintenance mechanic experience
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and conveyors
- High School Diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- Basic welding and fabrication skills preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain conveyors, balers, shredders, compactors, and other recycling equipment
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
- Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues
- Conduct inspections and complete repair documentation
- Follow all safety procedures and lockout/tagout requirements
