This role involves working on Class 8 trucks and trailers, performing tasks such as electrical diagnostics, engine and drivetrain repairs, air systems maintenance, preventive maintenance, road service and emergency repairs, and advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting. Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible schedule with willingness to work second shift
• Ability to lift 35+ lbs regularly
• Ability to bend, kneel, squat, and work in a shop environment
• Ability to operate tools and shop equipment safely and efficiently
• Must pass drug & alcohol screening

Nice To Haves

• 6-12 months diesel or mechanical experience (preferred, not required for trainees)
• ASE certifications
• Michigan Heavy-Duty Mechanic License
• Experience with fleet maintenance / diagnostic software

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical diagnostics on Class 8 trucks and trailers.
• Conduct engine and drivetrain repairs.
• Maintain and repair air systems.

• Engage in advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting.
