Requirements
- At least 1 year of mechanic experience
- At least 1 year of diesel mechanic experience
- Experience using Class 8 diagnostic tools
- Ability to diagnose and repair diesel trucks and trailers
- Must provide your own basic mechanic tools
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Nice To Haves
- Welding experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Class 8 trucks and trailers
- Perform maintenance and repairs on our modern fleet of Freightliner tractors
- Service and maintain our fleet of trailers
- Complete trailer repairs, welding, and general shop work
- Utilize Class 8 diagnostic tools and equipment
- Complete light computer work for repair documentation
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient shop environment
