About The Position
Martin Transportation Systems is growing and seeking a Diesel Truck Mechanic for a full-time, 1st shift position. We offer excellent benefits and a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with Class 8 diagnostic tools, repairing trucks and/or trailers, and performing general maintenance on our fleet of Freightliner Tractors and trailers. Light computer work and welding may also be requested. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of heavy-duty experience.
- Experience using Class 8 diagnostic tools.
- Some experience as a Diesel Mechanic repairing trucks and/or trailers.
- Must have own basic tools.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and perform general maintenance on trucks and trailers.
- Perform general maintenance on a fleet of recent model Freightliner Tractors.
- Perform trailer repairs, services, and welding.
- Light computer work.
