About The Position

White Star Machinery in Tulsa, OK is looking to add a Mechanic to their busy shop. This role will be responsible for providing quality repair services on Bobcat equipment to meet customer needs. This includes performing basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned construction equipment. The company offers in-house training and prefers to promote from within, offering many opportunities for advancement. White Star Machinery is an authorized dealer of new and used Bobcat compact construction equipment and provides service both in the field and in their facility.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
1-year fleet or dealership experience in a diesel shop is required.
Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team.
Must have an inventory of hand tools to facilitate the assigned repairs.

Nice To Haves

2 year technical school graduate preferred.
3-5 years preferred experience in a diesel shop.
Heavy equipment and or agricultural experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide quality repair services on construction equipment to meet customer needs in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner.
Performs basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned construction equipment.
Identifies problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel & electrical systems and executes solutions.
Participates in Service Training programs for the development of skills and knowledge.
Document all repairs and testing for customer and warranty repairs.
Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and or management of the company.
