About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to perform routine maintenance and repair on diesel engines and vehicles. This role involves diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, conducting inspections, performing preventative maintenance, and repairing or replacing faulty parts. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment, keeping accurate records, and possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. This position may also require heavy lifting, tire service, soldering, welding, and customer service.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and vehicle systems
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to commute/relocate reliably before starting work
