About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic for our Odessa, TX yard. This will be a 50 / 50 yard and field position with responsibilities for all company equipment. The role involves performing quality service and repair work on terminal and road tractor/trailers, pick-ups, and other equipment. Responsibilities include supporting operations with required service work, coordinating services to ensure repairs meet company schedules and standards, implementing processes to minimize downtime and increase cost-effectiveness, and verifying that all repair work adheres to company quality standards. The mechanic will also diagnose and perform all phases of fleet repairs on tractors, trailers, mid-sized pick-ups, and small trailers.

Requirements

At least one (1) year of diesel mechanic experience
Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
Deadline and detail-oriented
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and organizational skills
Hands-on, self-sufficient and demonstrates a positive, can-do attitude
Ability to work successfully both individually and within team environments
Works well in a constantly changing environment
Clean driving record

Responsibilities
