We are searching for a Diesel Mechanic to join our skilled team at the ACME Lancaster Distribution Center located in Denver, PA. Positions offer a competitive, comprehensive benefit package, annual tool & boot allowance. $3,000 retention bonus possible! For a new hire, the first 2 weeks would be Monday-Friday working 06:00 to 14:30. After 2 weeks -4-day 10-hour schedule. The days would be Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday working 06:00-16:30, 14:00-00:30, or 21:00-07:30.

Requirements

Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy duty tractor/trailer repair.
May require valid DOT physical card and a CDL driver's license.
May need certification in the use of refrigerants and recycling equipment
Ability to work full-time with the ability to work any shift.
ASE Certifications
PA State Inspection License a plus.
608 & 609 Refrigeration Certification
CDL A plus.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on Class A Diesel Trucks - Combo.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues
Answer driver's telephone request for assistance with equipment failure while out on the road
Maintain and repair all equipment to include engine, starting and charging, electrical, body, wheels, brakes, suspension, and interior.
