About The Position

Reyes Fleet Management, one of the largest privately held fleets in the US, is looking to hire a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician A to perform repairs and maintenance on our tractor and trailer equipment at our Martin Brower shop in Coatesville, PA. Requirements

• ASE Certifications (for incentive pay)
• Active CDL license (for incentive pay)
• Current driver qualification file to be maintained as required by the role
• Annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check
• Successfully completed DOT Physical
• Safety Performance History records request from prior employers in the last three years
• CDL holders will have a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and subject to a FMSCA Clearinghouse review

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units, and related parts)
• Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance through the online Enterprise Asset Management system
• Diagnoses complex mechanical and electric problems utilizing diagnostic technology/software when applicable
• Completes complex and detailed mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision
• Adhere to all company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations including DOT, OSHA, and Reyes Fleet Management standards, while ensuring compliance with safety programs, correct selection and use of appropriate tools, PPE, machine guarding, and established best safety practices
• This position may require driving Reyes Family of Businesses, Reyes Fleet Management and customer vehicles, it is regulated by the DOT and requires a current driver qualification file to be maintained as required by the role.
• The Driver Qualification file includes: an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records request from prior employers in the last three years.
• Additionally, CDL holders will have a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and subject to a FMSCA Clearinghouse review
• Some travel may be required
• Other projects or duties as assigned
