About The Position
This position is for a Diesel Mechanic/Equipment Foreman within the Construction Management unit. The role requires advanced knowledge of Diesel/Gasoline Engines and Heavy Equipment repair and maintenance. The individual will also serve as a foreman for the repair of engines and related equipment, and must possess the ability to fabricate and weld steel. This is an Exempt position.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in engine repair.
- Supervisory experience.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to repair multiple pieces of heavy equipment.
Responsibilities
- Advanced knowledge of all types of Diesel/Gasoline Engines.
- Advanced knowledge of Heavy Equipment and perform independently of others.
- Advanced knowledge of equipment maintenance.
- Foreman of the repair of engines and related equipment.
- Ability to fabricate and weld steel.
- Perform other duties and projects as required by management.
