About The Position
We are looking for an experienced Mobile Diesel/Heavy Equipment Mechanic to service fleet customers throughout the Baton Rouge area and surrounding territory. Most work is performed onsite at customer locations and focuses on scheduled maintenance and repairs rather than emergency roadside service. The equipment serviced includes utility trucks and forestry equipment, as well as a variety of other fleets. Technicians are provided with a fully equipped service truck and diagnostic laptop.
Requirements
- Ideally 5+ years of diesel or heavy equipment repair experience.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and provide good customer service.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the service territory.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with utility trucks, forestry equipment, and hydraulic systems.
