About The Position

Ancon is seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to maintain and repair company vehicles, pumps, and equipment. The mechanic performs diagnostic testing and preventive maintenance to identify and resolve problems before they cause breakdowns, and repairs disabled vehicles so they can return to service. Travel to job sites or other locations where maintenance is needed may be required, depending on the situation. Ancon is a third-generation, family-owned and operated company providing industrial cleaning and services to customers such as refineries and power plants. Requirements

ASE/NATEF certification.
Knowledge of gasoline and diesel engine mechanics.
Physical fitness for the physical work requirements.

Nice To Haves

Three or more years of experience performing mechanic work on gasoline and diesel light-, medium-, or heavy-duty vehicles is preferred.
Experience with vacuum pumps, hydraulic pumps, air-, electric-, or engine-driven diaphragm pumps, and related equipment.
Experience working with Liquid Vac and Dry Vac Trucks.

Responsibilities

Follow health and safety policies and processes, and act safely at all times.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair gasoline and diesel light-, medium-, and heavy-duty vehicles, as well as pumps and equipment.
Document, organize, and track work orders and related forms needed for billing or invoicing parts and services performed on equipment.
Inspect and test vehicles and record findings so necessary repairs can be made.
Travel to job sites or other locations where maintenance is needed when required.
