The Die/Tooling Specialist Schedule is Monday through Thursday 7AM - 3PM and Friday, 5:45AM to 1:45PM. This role delivers to machine centers and returns to inventory storage all printing plates, rotary and flat die cutting boards, stripping fixtures, mylars and samples as needed to run orders to customer specifications and GNC quality and efficiency standards. For these items and machine centers, provides support services in cleaning, repairing, rebuilding and mounting of all printing plates and die cutting boards. When problems or discrepancies are identified, works immediately with involved parties to resolve the issues.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalency.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations: adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions, decimals and percentages.
• Ability to use computer for on-the-floor reporting.
• Ability to follow verbal, written or diagrammatic instructions.
• Ability to solve problems and make adjustments regarding equipment, processes, procedures and product conformity to meet specifications and quality standard.
• Ability to identify and distinguish color.
• Ability to effectively meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of manufacturing / printing / die cutting experience preferred.

Responsibilities
