Inspect, test, and maintain new and reworked tools, dies, gauges, jigs, and fixtures to ensure proper operation and conformance to specifications. This role requires adherence to company policies, Quality and Environmental Management Systems (QMS & EMS), Kawasaki Production System (KPS), and legal/compliance regulations like OSHA. The technician will repair, maintain, and modify jigs, fixtures, and dies to support the die process, and may prepare dies for repair by cleaning and moving them. Responsibilities include inputting die history into an electronic database, suggesting improvements to the die process or equipment, performing tests to determine maintenance needs, potentially training team members, and communicating with all shifts.
