The Die Maker position is responsible for creating all new blanking tooling according to machine specifications to ensure the machines can produce quality products at the desired target speed for each run. This role also involves repairing broken tooling when necessary and supporting the Die Shop staff. Secondary responsibilities include solving and correcting daily tooling problems in production, performing duties of a die shop assistant as backup, assisting in establishing job standards, making and repairing blankers as scheduled, and using various tools and equipment safely and efficiently. The Die Maker will also work with the new business and development team to improve quality and efficiency, and maintain a clean work environment in accordance with the 5S system.
