About The Position

Digital Tool & Die is an established tool and die shop in Grandville, Michigan. The company designs and fabricates sheet metal stamping dies, roll forming, fixtures, fabrication, and special applications for automotive, furniture, prototyping, appliance, and U.S. Military customers. The Die Maker tries out and tunes sheet metal stamping dies, assists with die assembly on the bench, and safely operates presses, press feeder equipment, forklifts, overhead cranes, surface grinders, and other machine tools. The role is responsible for the quality and on-time delivery of new tool build projects and involves communicating with engineering and quality team members during troubleshooting. The Die Maker also helps train and mentor apprentices on how dies are built and function. This is a second-shift position with a four-day work week, Monday through Thursday, from 4:15 PM to 3:45 AM.
