Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Die Cutter Operator to join our manufacturing and production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining die-cutting machinery to produce high-quality finished products according to client specifications. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, values workplace safety, and possesses a sharp eye for quality control. Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00am -2:30pm with overtime as needed Hourly Pay Rate: $20 - $25/hour depending on experience

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent trade school certification.
  • Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating industrial die-cutting, converting, or press
  • Technical Skills: Ability to accurately read measurements, interpret die lines, and handle precision measuring tools.
  • Physical Stamina: Capability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work comfortably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Soft Skills: Dependable work ethic, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative team attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Machine Setup: Select, install, and align correct dies, cutting sequences, and tooling configurations for each unique production run.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate and monitor small and large format die cutting equipment. (BOBST, YOUNGH SHIN, CREST)
  • Material Management: Load raw paper, cardboard, plastics, or other substrates securely into the machine feeders.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular visual checks during production to detect and resolve defects like uneven edges, misalignments, or improper creasing.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical issues and perform basic, routine maintenance to ensure minimal machine downtime.
  • Documentation: Review job tickets, mylars and work orders to verify quantities and technical specifications.
  • Safety & Cleanliness: Follow all facility safety rules and maintain an organized workspace.
