About The Position

Menasha Corporation is seeking a Die Cut Operator for their 2nd shift (3pm-11pm). The Mastercut Operator is responsible for operating machinery to cut out parts of specified size and shape from corrugated board and properly offloading and inspecting finished material. This is a safety-sensitive position that requires the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. The role also requires the ability to work overtime and weekends as needed, and potentially on a rotating shift basis. The operator will work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people, and must be able to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles. All computer functions pertaining to the job must be performed, as well as the operation of hand tools and a forklift.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous Die Cut Experience Desired
Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business.
Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed.
Ability to effectively work in teams.
Ability to perform all computer functions as they pertain to the job.
Ability to operate hand tools.
Ability to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

Operate machine to cut out parts of specified size and shape from corrugated board.
Position and secure cutting dies to bed of machine using hand tools.
Cut and secure matrix scoring to cutting dies.
Place and secure stripping jigs using clamps.
Adjust tonnage according to thickness of the material or height of cutting die.
Measure finished parts with rule to verify conformance to specifications.
Remove and stack finished material into units.
May perform minor repairs on dies.
Enter finished information into computer.
Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors.
