About The Position

Join a fast-paced team as a Sheet Fed Die Cut Operator where precision, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement drive everything we do. This role involves operating high-performance sheet-fed die cutting machines, executing precise make-ready setups, and troubleshooting production challenges. You will also be responsible for maintaining die tooling, ensuring a clean and safe workspace, and collaborating with teammates to meet production goals. The position requires flexibility and the ability to support additional tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to effectively utilize (writing, speaking, reading) the English language.
• Regular attendance, basic computer skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple written and oral instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions.
• Ability to accurately measure using both standard and metric measurement systems.
• Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school.
• Ability to stand and walk for 80% of work time.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for 20% of work time.
• Ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less.
• Ability to identify and distinguish colors.
• Ability to use hands for 100% of work time.

Responsibilities

• Set up, fine-tune, and run high-performance sheet-fed die cutting machines.
• Execute precise, efficient make-ready setups for flawless production runs.
• Tackle production challenges with sharp problem-solving skills and quick decision-making.
• Keep die tooling inventory streamlined, organized, and in peak condition.
• Create a clean, safe, and well-organized workspace.
• Collaborate with teammates across the folding cartons plant to keep workflows running strong.
• Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and food safety requirements.
• Play a key role in helping the Folding Carton business unit hit and exceed production goals.
• Jump in with flexibility and support additional tasks as needed.
