About The Position

Alexandria Industries is hiring a Die Corrector for its Die Shop. The role maintains, corrects, and improves the extrusion dies used to shape aluminum parts, helping ensure that parts meet customer specifications. Safety is a priority, and the Die Shop cross-trains employees to support continued growth.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints and die drawings.
• Good understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfort working in a noisy, warm manufacturing setting and participating in team lifts for items over 40 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of blueprint reading and die correction experience.
• Associate degree in Machine Tool Technology or a related program.

Responsibilities

• Analyze die and temperature data before making corrections.
• Prepare and correct dies for the extrusion process.
• Read blueprints and measure parts to confirm they meet specifications.
• Work with press teams and die vendors to solve die problems.
