About The Position

Rightway Fasteners, Inc. (RFI), a Columbus, Indiana manufacturer of high-tension bolts and other cold-formed automotive parts, is seeking a Die Control Specialist. The role maintains company objectives for die control through inventory management and ordering, improves die-control methods within the department, handles tooling movement, and tags and delivers coils daily. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Good communication skills.
• Some computer skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Understanding of how to read tooling drawings.
• Highly motivated work ethic and positive attitude.
• Forklift capable.

• Inventory control experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Unpack and inspect tooling upon arrival.
• Check tooling life and maintain appropriate records.
• Maintain tooling drawings as needed.
• Work with local die vendors to obtain quotes and place orders.
• Support weekly tooling orders.
• Monitor tooling inventory.
• Track purchase orders and make changes or adjustments as needed.
• Maintain a die address list for all tooling.
• Tag and deliver coils.
• Handle tooling movement.
• Improve die-control methods within the department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
