Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
- Two (2) years clinical dialysis experience
- Ability to function in a high-volume, stressful patient care environment utilizing.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Dialysis Technician Certification (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) approved state certification program or a national commercially available certification program) required within 18 months of hire or transfer into the position.
- EMT licensure may be substituted for two years of clinical dialysis experience
Responsibilities
- Performs job duties under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse or Physician.
- Initiates and discontinues dialysis.
- Assists with ancillary duties as directed.
