About The Position

Encompass Health is hiring a Hemodialysis RN to provide specialized care to inpatients undergoing hemodialysis during rehabilitation. The nurse works as part of an interdisciplinary team in a state-of-the-art dialysis suite, delivering compassionate, individualized care to patients with kidney disease and supporting their recovery and quality of life.

The role includes direct patient care, supervision of care and treatments, patient assessments, personalized care planning, and responding to patient concerns. The nurse also builds relationships with patients by addressing their physical, mental, and emotional needs and educates nursing staff on hemodialysis patient care, equipment, and standards of care.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification within one year of hire.
• At least 6 months of dialysis nursing experience.

Nice To Haves

• CRRN certification preferred; the employer may help the nurse obtain it.
• At least 1 year of experience in an inpatient hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities
