About The Position

Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture with Select Medical & Vibra, is seeking a Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN position in Bowling Green, KY. Requirements

• Valid temporary or permanent State Registered Nurse License.
• At least one (1) year of Hemodialysis experience.
• BLS required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Hemodialysis in the acute care setting or acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the delivery of quality care by assuring the nursing care plan is followed.
• Assures implementation of the assessment plan, evaluation, and follow-up of the plan of care for the patient population in collaboration with the physician.
• Initiating an on-going systematic assessment of patients.
• Providing nursing care to meet the needs of the hemodialysis patient.
• Interpreting assessment data and information.
• Collaborating with providers regarding the dialysis treatment plan.
• Performing hemodialysis as prescribed.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.
