About The Position

DaVita is looking for someone to work as a dual role in our Peritoneal Dialysis Unit as a Clinical Administrative Assistant and an Experienced Dialysis Tech to serve our patients at our Columbus at Home in Columbus, OH. This role is a Dual Role that will sometimes require Floating to other clinics in the region to maintain Full-Time hours. You will work with our Peritoneal / Home Dialysis patients. Shifts will range between 8hrs (AA) and 12hrs (PCT). Expected Schedule: PCT hours 5:30am - 8:30pm, AA hours 8:00am - 5:30pm. You must have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday. Our PCTs also find DaVita professionally fulfilling. Requirements

Must be experienced and certified as a Dialysis Technician
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be comfortable working around blood and needles
Must be comfortable mixing acid or bicarb
Flexibility and availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
Physical and mental ability to work long hours (some shifts are 12+ hours) on your feet so wear comfortable shoes!
Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed
Dialysis experience required including: BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT)

Nice To Haves

Some AA experience preferred (but will train right candidate)
Good organizational skills
Desire to learn DaVita specific systems quickly

Responsibilities

Work with Peritoneal / Home Dialysis patients
Screen all people entering the clinic for COVID (questions and temp along with providing a mask)
Process admission requests and follow up with hospitals to assure we have all required documents to accept patients
Admit and discharge patients in computer system
Document appointments and follow up with offices to receive appointment notes
Order office supplies
Filing
Prioritize tasks throughout the day/week even when unexpected things happen
Clear and prompt communication with team, practitioners, and outside partners
Complete tasks in a timely manner
