About The Position

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease throughout dialysis treatment. Working under RN supervision as part of an interdisciplinary care team, the PCT helps deliver prescribed treatments and contribute to safe care and high-quality patient outcomes. The role is full-time, with four 10-hour shifts beginning at 4 a.m., Sundays off, and no overnight shifts. Experience is not required; paid comprehensive training is provided.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Desire to collaborate with care teams.
• Ability to problem solve.

Nice To Haves

• Previous healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
• CNA, EMT, medical assistant, CNT, and/or phlebotomy skills are desired.
• Dialysis experience is not required; job-shadow opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

• Participate in infection control, risk management, and patient education activities.
• Guide new patients through a 120-day education plan.
• Obtain and record patient vital signs and dialysis machine readings during treatment.
• Work under RN supervision.
• Set up and break down the dialysis blood system for treatment.
• Insert and remove patient access needles.
• Monitor patients during dialysis, document changes, and inform the charge nurse of concerns.
• Calculate patient weight loss needed to reach dry weight.
• Determine patient care priorities and organize workload accordingly.
• Maintain professional working relationships and observe patient privacy and rights.
• Maintain and track inventory.
• Perform laboratory work.
