About The Position

Concerto Renal Services is seeking a Dialysis Technician to provide safe and effective dialysis therapy as part of a hemodialysis healthcare team. The role works under the supervision of a licensed nurse and follows company policies, procedures, and training, as well as applicable state and federal regulations. The position is based at Pearl Healthcare Hinsdale in Hinsdale, Illinois, and is full time.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification or completion upon starting in the unit.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
• Minimum of two years of dialysis technician experience.
• Dialysis certification required.
• Pass Ishihara’s Color Blindness test.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care to assigned patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse, including initiating and discontinuing dialysis treatments according to prescribed orders.
• Obtain and document pre- and post-treatment vital signs, weight, and vascular access assessments, and report unusual findings to the nurse.
• Set up, operate, and perform safety checks on hemodialysis machines.
• Administer heparin as permitted by state law.
• Accurately document patient treatment details and prepare laboratory specimens as prescribed.
• Provide excellent service to patients, families, and staff.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
