About The Position
Farris Jeep is looking for an experienced Diagnostic Technician to join their team. This is a high-volume, family-owned dealership with a strong reputation and customer demand, ensuring a consistent workflow and endless diagnostic opportunities. The ideal candidate will be able to efficiently diagnose problems, solve complex repairs, and contribute to a busy service department. This role is for technicians who excel at electrical issues, check engine lights, drivability problems, complex diagnostics, and hard-to-fix vehicles.
Requirements
- 5+ years professional technician experience
- Strong electrical diagnostic ability
- Drivability and engine performance experience
- Dealership experience preferred
- CDJR experience is a major plus
- Strong all-around technicians thrive here as we work on ALL makes and models.
Nice To Haves
- ASE certifications preferred
Responsibilities
- Diagnose complex vehicle issues
- Perform advanced electrical and drivability diagnostics
- Repair engine, transmission, and performance-related concerns
- Work closely with service advisors and other technicians
- Maintain high-quality repair standards
- Help support and mentor other technicians when needed
