Diagnostic Supervisor (Remote) - Veterans Evaluation Services
About The Position
Maximus is currently hiring for a Diagnostic Supervisor to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team. This is a remote opportunity. The Diagnostic Supervisor is responsible for supervising, instructing, and supporting the Diagnostics team. Due to contract requirements, only US Citizens or a Green Card holder can be considered for this opportunity. Upon hire, Veteran Evaluation Services (VES) a Maximus Co. will provide all necessary computer equipment that is to be utilized to fulfill the duties of your role. New hires will NOT be exempt from using company provided equipment. Must currently and permanently reside in the Continental US.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 3+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must currently and permanently reside in the Continental US
- Only US Citizens or a Green Card holder can be considered for this opportunity.
Nice To Haves
- Candidates without a bachelor’s degree may be considered with a high school diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of directly relevant VES Diagnostics experience.
- 6 months of Diagnostics Scheduling experience desired.
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, instruct, and support the Diagnostics team: Diagnostic Cappers, Diagnostic Facility Recruiters, Diagnostic Schedulers, Diagnostic Uploaders, and DX Report Tracking Specialists.
- Ensure departmental service level requirements and goals are met.
- Report team metrics on a regular and timely basis.
- Work in tandem with Department Manager with regard to driving overall productivity.
- Work closely with the Department Trainer to ensure all employees are properly trained or retrained.
- Work closely with the HR Manager on resolving employee relations issues.
- Support and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Reviews and approves employee time records and manage overtime utilization.
- Interview, select, and on-board new employees.
