About The Position

Working as a Radiologic Technologist in Urgent Care offers a dynamic environment with greater patient interaction and the chance to expand your skill set beyond just performing x-rays. This is a full-time Diagnostic Radiology Technologist position located at Brownsburg Urgent Care. The hours will be 7:45am-8:15pm (12 hour shifts), M-F and 7:45am-6:15pm Saturday and Sunday (3 shifts per week). Candidate may travel sometimes between clinics if needed! No on-call required! The Technologist would qualify for shift differentials! Sign-on bonus available to eligible applicants!

Requirements

Basic Life Support certification, required.
Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.
Requires active status as a Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R), through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or a recent graduate of an approved training program in Radiologic Technology (board eligible). If board eligible, must obtain credential in Radiography within 6 months of hire.
Requires current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as Radiologic Technologist or a current ISDH Radiology Student Permit.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures for radiological diagnosis, in a timely fashion, while demonstrating the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients from pediatric through geriatric.
Follows physician's instructions, prepares and operates equipment and positions patients correctly in order to record the requested diagnostic images.
Treats patients with care and respect.
