About The Position
Empire State Radiology is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist proficient in diagnostic radiology, including X-rays, CTs, MRIs, and ultrasounds across multiple subspecialties. This flexible role offers the option to work onsite, remotely, or in a combination of both, with a collaborative, team-based clinical practice. The practice supports locations in Brooklyn, Queens, Westchester, Rockland County, Nassau County, and Suffolk County. Scheduling options include Monday through Friday with weekend rotation, a 7-day-on/7-day-off rotation, or other arrangements to be discussed. The position involves 215 shifts annually and includes base compensation, benefits, productivity incentives, a commencement bonus, and medical malpractice coverage with tail. The practice provides 24/7 coverage for subspecialized readings, access to advanced imaging technology and AI-driven tools, and physician liaison support to reduce administrative tasks. The role offers a diverse case mix across subspecialties and imaging settings. Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO).
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Radiology.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Radiology.
- New York medical license, or ability to obtain one.
Responsibilities
- Interpret diagnostic imaging, including X-rays, CTs, MRIs, and ultrasounds across multiple subspecialties.
- Provide radiology services in a collaborative, team-based clinical practice.
- Participate in the agreed-upon schedule, which may include weekend rotation or a 7-day-on/7-day-off rotation.
- Support high-quality, accurate, and timely diagnostic care.
