About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Radiologist to join our team at the VA Medical Center in Providence, RI. As a Diagnostic Radiologist, you will be responsible for interpreting and diagnosing medical images to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Requirements

Board Certification from the American Board of Radiology.
Current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
DEA registration.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology.
Proficiency in advanced imaging techniques such as MRI, CT, and ultrasound.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Active DEA registration
2+ years of experience in diagnostic radiology
Board Certification from the American Board of Radiology
Current license to practice medicine in the US
Active BLS certification
Active ACLS certification
Proficiency in MRI
Proficiency in CT
Proficiency in ultrasound
Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

Interpret and analyze medical images including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds.
Communicate findings and recommendations to referring physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Collaborate with other radiologists and medical staff to provide accurate and timely diagnoses.
Utilize advanced imaging techniques to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of complex cases.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all procedures and patient information.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and developments in the field of diagnostic radiology.
